A Hidden Gem with Flaky Perfection Stepping into this café felt like entering a little pocket of calm—relaxed vibes, soft chatter all around, and an atmosphere that invites you to slow down and stay a while. The Kouign-Amann was the standout—beautifully crisp with a subtle sesame twist that added a unique edge. The almond croissant and cinnamon roll were also impressive, each one baked to perfection with that ideal flaky, golden finish we pastry lovers dream about. Their Americano? Smooth, strong, and expertly brewed. It was the perfect companion to all the pastry goodness. To top it all off, the staff were incredibly lovely—warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. That little human touch made the whole experience even better. Whether you're dropping in for a solo treat or meeting a friend for a slow morning chat, this café nails it on both taste and vibe. Absolutely worth a return visit.

Vistes for my first time! The colouring, mood are fabulous and cute. Most popular almond croissant had great crispy texture and slightly sweet taste. Heavenly delicious!! Wish I had time to have a little chat with the staff members, despite the busy hours because they seem so nice and friendly! Guess I have to add to my one daily walking routes :)

We were absolutely blown away by the hospitality, food, and coffee at GOODs Manufactory and Cafe. We were only visiting Wellington for three days and the manager, Sarah got to know our names on the first day and remembered us when we came back. The pastries are incredibly fresh and unique and the coffee is smooth and rich, everything you want from a cafe! Please do yourself a favour and pop in to meet Sarah and the other friendly staff and enjoy a delicious morning!

There’s a good reason you’re likely to see queues out the door for Goods. They’re consistently baking the BEST pastries, serving it with great coffee and the friendliest service. In my partner’s words: “this place makes me glad I live in Wellington.” Unbeatably cosy vibes.

Fantastic pastries and nice coffee. It's a small but cosy place that has only a few tables (and the place is usually very crowded); so it can happen that you don't find a sit. But still, it's worth visiting. I truly enjoyed their freshly baked croissant accompanied with a nice cup of coffee.

this place is the ultimate hideaway which i never even knew existed until a friend took us here. iced oat latte was on the more expensive side; $7.50, but it was very large and the quality of the coffee was very good. i’d recommend to come here asap; the delicious pastries are waiting to be eaten

Went there after the Botanical Gardens on a rainy day, such a nice cafe and the food is amazing! I had the tuna focaccia and almond croissant and they were both amazing! Definitely recommend if you’re in the area
